Kazi A S M Nurul Huda

I am Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the Zuzana Simoniova Cmelikova Visiting International Scholar in Leadership and Ethics at the Jepson School of Leadership Studies, University of Richmond, USA. I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma. My research lies at the intersection of epistemology, social and political philosophy, and ethics, with particular interests in recognition, epistemic injustice, open-mindedness, trust, democratic legitimacy, and responsibility. More broadly, I investigate how social and institutional structures shape epistemic agency, trust, and justice in contemporary societies. I also engage with a range of applied philosophical and ethical issues, including leadership ethics, environmental ethics, development ethics, business ethics, bioethics, and the philosophy of education. As part of my work as a public intellectual, I regularly contribute to national and international news outlets, bringing philosophical insight to contemporary social, political, and ethical debates.
