I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Philosophy, University College Dublin, where I direct a graduate programme in Philosophy of Mind and Embodied Cognition, and Co-Direct UCD’s interdisciplinary Cognitive Science programme.
My research concerns the spatial and temporal structure of multisensory perceptual experience, the nature of perception and perceptual appearances, and the philosophy and science of perception more generally. My other interests include philosophy of psychology and the cognitive sciences, the metaphysics and consciousness of time and temporal passage, and the Scottish Enlightenment philosopher Thomas Reid.
