Kevin S. Jobe is Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Dr. Jobe's research connects critical philosophy of law and legal scholarship to examine issues in discrimination law, immigration law, constitutional law and public policy. His current research focuses on strategic and performative speech acts in legislative and constitutional law. Prof. Jobe holds a PhD in Philosophy from Stony Brook University, and a Masters of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's School of Law.
