Currently, my primary research project is exploring the import of Nietzsche's ideal of life affirmation for contemporary ethics. I'm also interested in issues bearing on the history of 19th-century German philosophy (esp. Nietzsche), philosophy of psychology, philosophy of action, self-deception, and the meaning of life.
