Key MacFarlane

My research interests lie in continental philosophy, critical theory, and (increasingly) psychoanalysis, with a focus on problems of consciousness, everyday life, and possibility. I have recently published essays on the work of Henri Lefebvre, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, and the early Frankfurt School. My PhD dissertation examined the relatively neglected twentieth-century encounter between transcendental phenomenology and dialectical materialism.
