My research interests lie in continental philosophy, Marxist thought, and (increasingly) psychoanalysis, with a focus on problems of consciousness, everyday life, and possibility. I have recently published essays on the work of Henri Lefebvre, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, and the early Frankfurt School. My PhD dissertation, "Revolutionary Consciousness: Marxism, Phenomenology, Everyday Life," examined the relatively neglected twentieth-century encounter between transcendental phenomenology and dialectical materialism.
