I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy in the Corcoran Department of Philosophy at the University of Virginia. I primarily work in the History of Philosophy focusing on African American Philosophy, Philosophy of Race, and Hegel. Additionally, I am competent in Feminist Philosophy and Social and Political Philosophy. I am currently at work on essays in each of my areas and a monograph entitled 'Du Bois's Metaphilosophy: The Truth of Race.'
