I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Tokyo in March 2024 and am currently a part-time lecturer at Sagami Women's University, Japan. My doctoral research focused on the categories of art and their role in art criticism. From September 2024, I will be a Japanese government-funded researcher at the University of British Columbia for two years, working on issues of aesthetic value.
