I am the author of "The Illusion Engine: The Quest for Machine Consciousness" (Springer Nature, 2025) and a co-author of "Introduction to Deep Learning" (Springer, TBP), with over a decade of experience in both research and machine learning engineering. I am an Asst. Prof at the Center for Cognitive Science (University of Zagreb) and a machine-learning lead at Meedan. My Ph.D. was in justification logic, but my research interests cut mostly cross AI, then philosophy of mind and consciousness, philosophy of science, and astrobiology.
