I am currently Associate Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Languages and Philosophy at Southern Utah University.
I focus on Descartes, but have a broader interest in the history of modern philosophy. I have projects in the works on Descartes as a transitional figure between late-medieval and early modern philosophy, Margaret Cavendish as an example of a way to reconceptualize enlightenment thought, and Mary Shepherd's philosophy of causation and time.
I have other projects in metaphilosophy, the philosophy of mind, and pre-college philosophy.
