Kumayl Alloo CC’25 is a Tanzanian-American qāri' (reciter of the Qur’an), scholar and researcher. A three-time national champion and world champion reciter, his accomplishments in several Qur'an competitions — coupled with his unique and melodious styles of recitation — have garnered both national and international acclaim. Alloo’s research interests span behavioral neuroscience, social psychology, Arabic linguistics and Qur'anic sciences.
