Kyle J. Barbour is a PhD Student in the Philosophy department at the University of Guelph. His main interests are idealism, phenomenology, environmental philosophy, and philosophy of religion with secondary interests in ancient philosophy. His doctoral research focuses on using Hegel's philosophy to develop a non-instrumental environmental ethic based on the interplay between the cultural and the natural.
