I have two main projects. Currently, I'm working on gendered slurs and the challenges that these kinds of pejorative terms pose for theories of slurs in general. My other project centers around desire - how we know what we want and what it is to want something. Desires are often thought of as dispositional properties, and so I'm interested in dispositional accounts of desire, and how this view might impact accounts of self-knowledge as they pertain to desire. This also requires thinking about dispositional properties and how they interact.
