I'm a member of the law faculty at Georgetown University. My current projects include work on the connections between the philosophy of language and legal interpretation and the development of a virtue-centered approach to normative legal theory. I work in legal theory, the philosophy of law, and aspects of value theory and the philosophy of language connected to law.
