Leonel Alvarez Ceja

Leonel Alvarez Ceja (Leo) is a second-year Ph.D. student at the Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University. He completed his B.A. in philosophy at UCLA. His primary research interests include Metaphysics (mereology, composition, fundamentality, modality, formal ontology, space, time, higher-order metaphysics); Logic (philosophical, mathematical, higher-order); Philosophy of Physics; Philosophy of Mathematics. That said, Leo is a generalist at heart (interested in just about everything philosophy). He hopes his work will help him better understand the basic structure of reality (if there is one), what exists, what does not, who he and we are; however, it turns out that reality is a lot harder to figure out than he originally thought.
