I am currently an assistant professor at the University of Pardubice and a researcher on the ERC-CZ project, "Combatting Self-Righteousness: A Vice of the Digital Age." My work on this project focuses on the nature and justification of cynicism, the use of concepts like "moral grandstanding," and practices of diagnosing others from afar (e.g., as "narcissists").
I have also worked on issues in the history of analytic philosophy, the ethics of attention, the philosophy of love, and other topics relevant to the work of Iris Murdoch.
