I am an affiliated associate professor in the philosophy department at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. I work primarily in epistemology, with overlapping interests in general philosophy of science and logic.

My work in theoretical epistemology encompasses the metaphysics of epistemic norms, the implications of metaepistemology for first-order theorizing, a priori knowledge/justification, fallibilism, and social epistemology, including the epistemology of testimony.

In applied epistemology, I am interested in good epistemic practices in the financial services industry. I have related interests in business ethics.
