I am an Affiliated Associate Professor in the philosophy department at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. I work primarily in epistemology, with overlapping interests in the philosophy of science, logic and, more recently, metaethics.
My work in theoretical epistemology encompasses the topics of a priori knowledge/justification, fallibilism, epistemic defeat, epistemic modals, naturalistic epistemologies, epistemic norms, epistemic values, veritism, and theories of knowledge. In applied epistemology, I am interested in best practices in the financial services industry. I have related interests in business ethics.
