Louis Caruana is a Jesuit priest, currently Professor at the Philosophy Faculty of the Gregorian University in Rome. After his university studies in Malta, London, and Paris, he obtained his doctorate at the University of Cambridge. He lectured for several years at Heythrop College, University of London, where he was appointed Reader. He serves also as Adjunct Scholar at the Vatican Observatory. His research deals mainly with the interaction between philosophy of science, philosophy of nature, metaphysics, and philosophy of religion.
