My research interests are mainly theoretical and aimed at developing a general Theory of the Cognitive Agent (CA). The CA is to be considered as a model of that part of our control system that is mediated by explicit mental representations with content (i.e. beliefs and goals).

Within this perspective, I am particularly interested in advancing current understanding on human social cognition and abilities enabling phenomena like: coordination, collaboration, conventions, social norms and institutions.
