Lucia C. Neco

I am a Brazilian philosopher and biologist currently working as a Juan de la Cierva Research Fellow at the University of Murcia, Spain in the MINTlab (Minimal Intelligence Lab). I am fascinated by the philosophical underpinnings of the intersection between the biological, cognitive, and social sciences, with a particular focus on sociality within both intra- and multispecies contexts. I am also interested in how these multispecies relationships can reshape our understanding of environmental care and responsibility. Additionally, I am part of the Philosophical Engagement for Public Life (PEiPL) network and engage in initiatives related to Philosophy for Children (p4c) in Perth, Australia.
