Maciej Bazela

Maciej Bazela is an independent business consultant & academic. He founded Applied Ethics Solutions (AES) in 2012. AES is a consulting and research boutique which specializes in business ethics, bioethics, corporate leadership and corporate culture. So far AES has carried out a few consulting projects in Mexico City and is currently exploring further opportunities.

Maciej has strong experience in socially responsible investment (SRI) and ethical screening. From March 2007 to September 2011 he worked for Fidelis International Institute for Business Ethics as Project Leader & Senior Analyst for Socially Responsible Investments. He was responsible for negative and positive screening of securities for ethical funds. He participated actively in Executive Board Meetings of Fidelis. He worked hand-in-hand with the Executive Director of the Institute as his assistant and advisory. He was on the Organization Committee of Fidelis Summit on Business Ethics.

From May 2012 through December 2012, he taught Ethical Business Management at Cameron School of Business at the University of Saint Thomas in Houston (UST). His teaching responsibilities included: frontal teaching, case analysis, essay review, tutoring, online discussions (Blackboard environment), testing and assessment.

He is collaborating with the Holy Apostles College & Seminary (HACS) where he is giving business ethics courses online and he is tutoring students’ research thesis in the realm of ethics and economics.
