Madalin Onu has worked as a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Philosophy of Humboldt University, Berlin (2015) and the University of Cologne (2013). From 2010 to 2017, Dr Onu conducted seminaries in German Idealism at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences of “Al. I. Cuza” University, Iasi, Romania. He defended his PhD thesis in 2013 and completed the post-doctoral research titled “The Culture of Reason (Kultur der Vernunft) and the Reason of Culture (Vernünftige Bildung). His research and publication interests are German Idealism, contemporary philosophy, hermeneutics, the philosophy of history and phenomenology, alongside social sciences and cultural studies.
