I am a third‑year PhD student in philosophy at Boston College with research interests in ancient Greek philosophy, continental philosophy (esp. German, 20th century), and classical reception studies. Within these areas, I focus especially on metaphysics, philosophical anthropology, the philosophy of science, the history of science, and feminist theory. I plan to write my dissertation on Aristotle's account of substantial generation. As a participant in the ‘biological turn’ in Aristotle scholarship, I am methodologically dedicated to rereading Aristotle’s theoretical and practical works through his biological and zoological writings.
