Magda Costa Carvalho teaches at the University of the Azores, Portugal. She is a research member of NICA: Interdisciplinary Center for Childhood and Adolescence, University of the Azores, and of Instituto de Filosofia a Universidade dos Porto (both in Portugal). She holds a Ph.D. on Henri Bergson’s concept of Nature and her research focuses are on Philosophy for Children as a philosophical field. She holds training in P4C by SAPERE (UK). She coordinates a Master's in Philosophy for Children (University of the Azores) and offers Philosophy for Children sessions in public schools.
