I am a philosopher of mathematical practices interested in the archaeo-historical and cognitive basis of geometry (mainly in Early China, but also Mesopotamia and Ancient Greece). I am working right now (at Northwest University, Xi'an) about the emergence of states in China (Xia dynasty, Erlitou, Taosi, Shimao) and the application of "Mathematical Archaeology" to study this topic. Finally, I am doing some research about the conceptualization of space and time in Early China (from Prehistory to the end of Ancient History) and the agents involved in this process (elite members, craft specialists, ritual specialists).
