I work across practical philosophy, with a focus on meta-ethics and normative ethics, as well as on issues at the intersection of philosophy and the social sciences. In particular, I investigate the nature of normative reasons, the use of models in normative inquiry, the role of concepts in the social sciences, and questions related to global governance.
