Marcus Arvan is Professor of Philosophy and Chair of Philosophy and Religion at the University of Tampa. He received his PhD from the University of Arizona and works in ethics, social-political philosophy, cognitive science, philosophy of AI, philosophy of mind, and metaphysics.
He has published three books: Why It's OK to be a Moderate (2025), Neurofunctional Prudence and Morality: A Philosophical Theory (2020), and Rightness as Fairness: A Moral and Political Theory (2016).
