Marharyta Rouba

Hi! I am a doctoral candidate at the Chair for Classical German Philosophy at Humboldt-Univerität zu Berlin. I come from Belarus, where I obtained my BA and MA in History of Philosophy. In 2020 and 2021, I was an Erasmus visiting PhD student at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena and a DAAD visiting researcher at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. My interests are in the field of Kant’s theoretical philosophy, the early reception of the Critique of Pure Reason, and contemporary metaphysics. I have been working on my realistic reading of Kant’s concept of a transcendental subject within the general issues of self-consciousness, cognition, and metaphysics of existence.
