I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Milan, where I examined how people conceptualize causality, focusing particularly on causal selection and the role of norms in shaping causal judgments. Since January 2026, I have been a postdoctoral researcher at IUSS Pavia, where I joined the project 'Severe Uncertainty: Decisions, Evidence, and Probability (DeEP)'
I am fascinated by folk reasoning and its relationship with more specialized reasoning developed for specific human endeavors, such as science and law—and the role that causality plays in both.
