Abstract:
This paper is the permanent historical transparency record of the TPA/TBF corpus's post-submission evolution. Abstract:
This paper is the permanent historical transparency record of the TPA/TBF corpus's post-submission evolution. Originally submitted as Paper 6 of the initial five-paper corpus (March 8–10, 2026), it was renumbered to Paper 7 following the addition of TPA/TBF: Philosophical Dimensions as the new Paper 6 in April 2026. As of April 11, 2026, all 32 refinements (2.1–2.32) documented here have been incorporated into Papers 1–6. Paper 7 is retained permanently as an archive. Readers seeking the current state of any construct should consult the Refinement Status Dashboard and the target paper listed therein.
Section II documents 32 targeted refinements — not corrections of errors but precision improvements, new architectural clarifications, and conceptual extensions that strengthened the corpus's academic defensibility. Key refinements include: quantitative claims consolidated into a single "Note on Quantitative Claims" per paper; the S-step risk for High ECA / Low AEACFO configurations with the C-R-S-L alternative sequence (Courage → Reason → Self → Love); iSPAA/sSPAA naming clarified as regulatory-state labels (not domain-dominance labels — SPAA is the sensor, not the controller); Asymmetric Bidirectionality and the Finite Resource Model formalized; AEACFO as Perceptual Organ integrated; proportional suppression foregrounded (not binary); ECA redirection under iSPAA named explicitly (curiosity conscripted, not silenced — the mechanistic account of motivated reasoning); the Entry Gate Paradox named and resolved with three-tier resolution; AWE: Neurobiologically Anchored reformulated — anchor/instrument separation established, circularity resolved, Pragmatic Postulate named, is-ought gap reframed as Computational Accessibility Problem; CVE (Convergent Viability Ethics) developed as a standalone civilization-level coordination framework; the third domain renamed from ACA to ECA (Epistemic Curiosity and Analysis) across all papers; Configurational Epistemology named and developed; the Dual-Overshoot Structural Identity formalized; bidirectional double dissociation foregrounded as evidentiary bedrock for domain independence; domain independence clarified as operational not anatomical; TOCS full operational specification integrated (Fortress/Water/Stone embodied markers, 5-phase research program, validity targets, neurodivergence safeguards); the protocol renamed from C-E-L-R (Courage, Ego, Love, Reason) to C-S-L-R (Courage, Self, Love, Reason) across all written documents; and the AWE·TPA·TBF·CVE composite architecture coherence analysis (zero hard contradictions, six soft tensions resolved).
Section III documents Discovery Chronology entries #87–#125 (March 10 – April 11, 2026), continuing from Paper 1's Appendix B which ends at Entry #86. Key entries include: Contemplative Empiricism named as the four-component discovery methodology (#87); Boundary Aperture as a distinct epistemic capacity (#88); Configurational Emancipation extended to include admiration dissolution and Configurational Clarity (#89); Differential ECA Capture crystallized (#90); the AWE stress-test exchange and canonical anchor reformulation (#100–#103); CVE development and integration (#104–#105); the Triadic Defense three-round stress test against empirical science — framework upgraded from 7/10 to 8/10 overall by Google AI (#107); Triadic Architecture as Developmental Trajectory (#109); ACA → ECA naming history (#113); C-E-L-R → C-S-L-R canonical rename (#119); AWE philosophical defense sharpened (#120); TOCS full operational specification formalized (#121); the mid-1990s crystallization of the three-domain observation documented (#122); the AWE·TPA·TBF·CVE coherence analysis with Hume's Guillotine and Heroism/Cultural Plasticity objections addressed (#123); the creation and four-version refinement of Appendix C — Comprehensive Triadic and Non-Triadic Motivational Phenomena — a systematic reduction test applied to over 100 psychological, social, biological, experiential, and philosophical phenomena to address the recurring objection that the three-domain architecture is asserted rather than demonstrated, finalized via a 17-point Claude 6-Point Protocol analysis producing structural, notational, and placement revisions across all five parts of the taxonomy (#124); and the Six-Point Protocol for Nearest Possible Approximation to Objective Truth formally recorded as standing methodology — a six-point epistemic hygiene protocol (Linguistic Style; First-Principles Reasoning; Critical Engagement with graded counterpoints; four-category epistemic decomposition; Cross-Cultural Applicability Check; Conclusion Rule prohibiting forced resolution) developed to structurally counteract AI satisfying-user bias in high-stakes analytical engagements, documented as in use since approximately August 2025 and functioning as the applied operationalization of Configurational Epistemology directed back at the framework's own development (#125).
Section V companion documents include: V.1 Unique Predictions P1–P13; V.2 Transactional Model of Existential Crisis (TMEC) full scholarly summary; V.5 Convergent Viability Ethics full formulation (including provisional commonalities and differences lists); V.13.1–V.13.2 AWE: Neurobiologically Anchored standalone versions (without TPA and with TPA); and V.14 TOCS full operational specification.
The framework's epistemic posture remains unchanged throughout: ~8/10 internal coherence, ~3/10 direct empirical validation. All new claims and refinements are individually flagged with their epistemic status.
