Mark Thorsby is currently a Professor of Philosophy and the Chair of the Philosophy and Humanities Department at Lone Star College in Houston, Texas. Mark holds a PhD in philosophy from The New School. His dissertation, "Intersubjectivity and Moral Failure" explores Husserl's phenomenology of intersubjectivity insofar as it illuminates an explanation for the problem of moral failure. His research interests include environmental ethics, phenomenology, and media theory.
