Marla Morris

Dr Morris has a PhD in Philosophy from the European Graduate School and a PhD in Education from Louisiana State University. Dr. Morris has a BA in philosophy from Tulane University, a MA in religious studies from Loyola University, New Orleans. Morris has written numerous articles and books on a broad range of issues. Her main interests are postmodern philosophy, deconstruction, psychoanalysis, curriculum studies and systematic theology. She has published papers on Michel Serres, Martin Heidegger, Jacques Derrida, Simone de Beauvoir. Morris has drawn extensively on the work of Avital Ronell, Walter Benjamin, Thomas Mann, Michael Eigen, Wilfred Bion and Melanie Klein. Morris works in the interstices of philosophy and education, philosophy of psychology, psychoanalysis, German literature, and health humanities
