Dr. Morris, PhD studied philosophy at Tulane University, religious studies from Loyola University, New Orleans and Education at Louisiana State University. Morris has written numerous articles and books on a broad range of issues. Her main interests are postmodern philosophy, psychoanalysis, curriculum studies and systematic theology. She has published papers on Martin Heidegger, Jacques Derrida, Michel Serres, Simone de Beauvoir. Morris has drawn extensively on the work of Gaston Bachelard and Donna Haraway. Morris has also worked in the area of Holocaust studies, trauma studies, medical humanities and chaplaincy.
