I am currently finishing a manuscript, provisionally titled 'Metaphor and Metamorphosis: Ricoeur and Deleuze on Philosophy as the Invention of Concepts,' in which I stage a fruitful confrontation between the living metaphor (Ricoeur) and the continuous metamorphosis (Deleuze), as two ways of understanding how philosophy renews itself through the invention of concepts. This reveals two different perspectives on the integral connection between truth and its expression in language.
