I am Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in Philosophy at the University of Hamburg. I work primarily in metaphysics and the philosophy of science.

I received my BA summa cum laude in mathematics and philosophy from Yale University and my PhD in philosophy from New York University, where my advisor was Kit Fine. I have also held positions at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I worked with L. A. Paul on a project funded by the John Templeton Foundation. According to metrics provided by PhilPeople, I am in the top 2% for citations in metaphysics in the past five years.
