Hi. I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Bilkent University in beautiful Ankara, Turkey.

My current research projects focus on sublunary elements, primary and non-primary contraries, and inanimate compounds in Aristotle's natural philosophy.

I am also more generally interested in Aristotle's theory of matter, Aristotle's philosophy of mathematics and logic, and the reception of Aristotelian matter in later Neoplatonist thought.

In addition to ancient Greek and Roman philosophy, I have regularly taught courses in contemporary metaphysics, logic, history of modern philosophy, and history of social and political philosophy.
