Maryam Aghdami

I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at Birkbeck College University of London, having returned to academic research after more than a decade of professional work as a journalist and media practitioner. My research interests lie in social and political epistemology, with a focus on feminist epistemology. In exploring the relationship between power and knowledge, I philosophise the question, "How do well-intentioned progressive people epistemically oppress marginalised groups?"
