Mateja Kurir was a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Architecture of the University of Leuven (Belgium). She collaborated at the conference Philosophy and architecture with the paper “The question of home (das Heim) in Heidegger’s philosophy” in Lisbon in 2015. She gave several lectures on modernistic architecture at distinguished institutions in Slovenia (Museum of Architecture and Design, Faculty of Arts, Museum of Contemporary Arts) and on the use of public space abroad (Mexico City, Vienna).
