I am a PhD student in the Philosophy Department at the University of Geneva, working with the Thumos research group on emotions, values, and norms. My dissertation ‘The Many Faces of Fantasy’ is devoted to the nature of fantasy and its distinctive imaginative, conative, affective and hedonic dimensions. I am working on it in the context of Professors Julien Deonna, Bence Nanay, and Fabrice Teroni’s “Emotion and Mental Imagery” SNF-funded research project. My other research interests are, in the main, philosophy of mind, philosophy of fiction, particularly fiction-directed emotions, and philosophy of sexual desire.
