I'm Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science and Fellow of Wolfson College at the University of Cambridge. My research spans the physics, metaphysics and psychology of time and causation, with a focus on the direction of time. My own 'C-theory' of time holds that time is fundamentally directionless, and my work sets out what implications this has for the physics of time, our understanding of causation and explanation, and the experience of time.
