I received my Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Hawai'i focusing on classical Indian and contemporary Western philosophy. I am Professor of Philosophy and Department Chair at Colorado State University. My work is primarily in cross-cultural or cosmopolitan philosophy of mind. I also have interests in pragmatism, virtue ethics, moral psychology, philosophy of cognitive science, and philosophy of religion.
