Matthew Nini is a philosopher in the Platonic tradition, working at the Institute of Philosophy in Zagreb, Croatia. His work traces the living current of Platonism from its ancient sources through the Neoplatonists, the Christian speculative tradition (Eriugena, Cusanus), and into German Idealism, pursuing the questions those figures have raised. His research interests include German Idealism, Neoplatonism, philosophy of religion, and the intersection of philosophical and literary form.
