My research mostly focuses on the philosophy of immigration, and draws on theoretical approaches to human rights and the state’s use of force. I have been described by peers as a libertarian, and although I can see why they think that I refer to myself as a cosmopolitan. When pressed, I admit to left libertarian sympathies. Other areas of interest include free speech (and whether it is even plausible that a for-profit press can be thought of as ‘free’) and group-agency.
