Mexican filmmaker, composer and evolutionary biologist (PhD in Biological Sciences, UANL; law degree). Former Director General of Pronatura Noreste. Author of over 40 scientific works on freshwater fishes and conservation, including descriptions of new species. His essays and philosophical dialogues explore teleology, agency, moral autonomy, environmental ethics and the culture of public judgment.
