I am a research associate professor and principal scientist at the University of Southern California. I hold a BA in Philosophy from Birkbeck College (University of London) and a doctorate in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin. My research interests are in computational social science, AI for social good, and on occasion, the philosophy of AI.
