I'm a PhD student working at the intersection of philosophy of mind and neuroscience, focusing on the combination problem in theories of consciousness. My research explores how empirical work, particularly involving human cerebral organoids, might shed light on the mechanisms of mental combination and the emergence of unified conscious experience. I’m especially interested in how developments in organoid neuroscience could challenge or support panpsychist and emergentist frameworks.
