I am a political theorist and currently a Lecturer in American Studies, Political Science, and Women’s & Gender Studies at Vanderbilt University. Beginning in the fall of 2019, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gender and Race Studies at the University of Alabama.

My research interests include: contemporary feminist political theory; democratic theory; emotions and politics; gender and race in the history of political thought; politics and literature; utopian political thought; and 17th and 18th century political thought, especially English and French.
