Description of the system of patterning involved in where prime numbers occur within the infinite set of natural numbers
This article describes the system of patterning involved in the distribution of prime numbers. The description of the system is based on the idea that two seemingly independent process are interacting in a non-dimensional state. And since the language of mathematical formulation is syntactically dimensional, it cannot describe the system as a whole. If we accept advance predictability as proof of the system in connection with viewing a model of the regularity of its relationships, rather than re…Read more
This article describes the system of patterning involved in the distribution of prime numbers. The description of the system is based on the idea that two seemingly independent process are interacting in a non-dimensional state. And since the language of mathematical formulation is syntactically dimensional, it cannot describe the system as a whole. If we accept advance predictability as proof of the system in connection with viewing a model of the regularity of its relationships, rather than relying on a traditionally formulated mathematical proof, the rigorous system of prime distribution is clearly evident. The philosophical implications are significant, since it points to a weakness in mathematical language and the formulation of mathematical proofs. *This draft is based on ideas published in the author's memoir "The Image of Language" 2021:Artists Books Editions. It is planned to be published in a book by the author tentatively titled "Archetivity."

The SignalGlyph Project and Prime Numbers
In Michael Winkler (ed.), The Image of Language, Artists Books Editions. pp. 158-163. 2021.
An excerpt of "The SignalGlyph Project and Prime Numbers" (a chapter of the book THE IMAGE OF LANGUAGE) that attempts to illustrate how dimensional limitations of mathematical language have obscured recognition of the system of patterning in the distribution of prime numbers.

    A Major Challenge
In Michael Winkler (ed.), The Image of Language, Artists Books Editions. 2021.
This excerpted chapter of the book THE IMAGE OF LANGUAGE discusses the philosophical implications of geometric visualizations of the alphabetic patterning encoded in the orthography of words (a project showing examples of the visualizations is included). Reference pages are also included.

New discoveries should reopen the discussion of signs
    Alternative Theoretics 2015 12. 2015.
Some recent scientific discoveries regarding the signs of language, which impact my own ongoing project as a visual/conceptual artist, also dramatically impact the Saussurian foundation of the prevalent cultural theories which underlie the curatorial priorities of many major art institutions.
