While studying at Michigan, I took graduate courses from several notable faculty members, including Jaegwon Kim, William Frankena, Alvin Goldman, Lawrence Sklar, Louis Loeb, Timothy McCarthy, and others. I received my Masters Degree in 1976, and my Ph.D. in 1979. My dissertation on "The Persistence of Physical Objects" was chaired by Professors Kim and McCarthy. I then enrolled in The University of Michigan Law School and received my J.D. in 1981. Since then, I have been practicing civil litigation in Los Angeles. I am a founding partner of the law firm Kinsella Weitzman Iser Kump & Aldisert LLP in Santa Monica, where I currently practice law, with an emphasis in IP, media and entertainment litigation.
