After graduating from Phoenix Christian High School in 2001, Michael enrolled in the Maricopa Community College district, first at Phoenix College, then Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC). He earned an associate of arts degree in December 2019 from PVCC. At PVCC, Michael took introduction to philosophy, logic, world religions, philosophy of religion, and introduction to Christianity, some of those with Professor Surrendra Gangadean.
