Michael Pendlebury is Professor of Philosophy Emeritus at North Carolina State University, from which he retired in December 2023 after 20 years as Professor of Philosophy and Head of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. He was previously on the philosophy faculty at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1984 to 2003, when he resigned as Professor and Head of Philosophy.
