I'm particularly interested in metaphysics, the philosophy of logic and language, and the early history of analytic philosophy. I completed my DPhil (PhD) in philosophy at the University of Oxford, where my thesis, The Unnameable, was supervised by Adrian Moore and Timothy Williamson.

I'm a former lecturer in philosophy at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, where I also held a postdoctoral award from the Philosophical Fellowship Fund at the University of Oxford. I'm now a policy advisor in the British Civil Service.
